  1. Be sure to read the whole RAPLINK.DOC!

  3. Here are some IMPORTANT PORTIONS from the manual for those of you who hate
  4. reading them:
  5.  
  6. ***************************** MUST DO ********************************
  7. ***  If you are using RAP v1.82a or higher then copy RAPLNEW.EXE   ***
  8. ***  over RAPLINK.EXE                                              ***
  9. ***  Command Line> COPY RAPLNEW.EXE RAPLINK.EXE                    ***
  10. **********************************************************************

  12. *** WARNING: Do not PKLITE, LZEXE or do any similar thing to RAPLink.
  13.              Doing so will corrupt the program! RAPLink writes its
  14.              configuration directly to the RAPLINK.EXE file.
  15.  
  16. Run RAPLink with a /CONFIG parameter to access the configuration manual.
  17.  
  18. Before linking:
  19. First of all, make sure RAP HAS BEEN RUN PREVIOUSLY OR IS RUNNING.  RAPLink
  20. will not initialize/create the NODEIDX.RAP and NODEIDX2.RAP files.

  22. Running the link after using terminal to get into a BBS's teleconference:
  23. RAPLink <com port> <BBS Name> <RAP work path> [<node>]
